In past years, a portion of our yearly $60 membership was saved to help a golf course purchase a defibrillator. In 2025 we had accumulated $2,360 to add to such a purchase. Since Belmont Golf Course was part of our tour for 5 years until 2017, this money has been donated to Belmont Golf Course. We hope it will be a safeguard for those playing golf.

The Back Nine Jitters Golf League is a social golf league. The league is a fun place to meet new people and compete with others who love to play the game in the London area. Co-eds of all playing levels enjoy bi-weekly rounds with mixed groups that play on a different golf course throughout the area. Beginner? No problem! We have 3 different handicap levels that we can place you in where you will match up with others with the same level of playing this great game.

We began the league in 2012 creating a social and fun experience for players at all levels. The real treat is the final week grand finale tournament. This year’s event is at Hickory Ridge. It’s different every session with a mystery element thrown in to create an even playing field. Needless to say, the final tournament is the one you look forward to, but by then you have created new friends and lasting golf partners. After each round of golf, you can head to a local sponsor bar to enjoy food and drinks with your fellow golfers. Feel free to sign up with a friend. The more, the merrier!

Members can pick and choose which tournaments to play or play them all. The schedule with all the courses, times and costs will be posted for everyone's convenience.
